The IT Department provides the partners and staff with the tools required to perform their work. Its role is to not only provide technology, but to provide service and support as well with the goal to: - Improve the efficiency, productivity and profitability of the Firm; and - Devote the time necessary to manage the Firm’s information technologies consistently. Job Requirements • Must possess a University degree in Computer Science or related discipline complimented by experience (preference will be given to those who have worked in a professional services environment) • Strong technical skills including MS Windows, VMware, Citrix, and Security • Strong ability to see the big picture and improve business initiatives • Proven leadership skills • Proficient in executing projects from coordination to completion • Excellent client service and ability to solicit client feedback to improve service • Able to synthesize complex or diverse information and resolve problems in a timely manner • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Solid understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work in a team environment Job Responsibilities • Develop and manage the Firm’s technological strategic plan • Identify and manage testing of new technologies • Oversee the existing technology infrastructure and implement new technology as required, this includes the data systems, communication systems, and the network • Preserve Firm assets by overseeing disaster recovery and information security and control structures • Manage all IT training programs • Prepare and oversee the IT annual budget • Provide support to team members as needed • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing networks and participating in professional societies Company Profile --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GREAT CONNECTIONS EMPLOYMENT We are leading Ontario-based full cycle employment services agency, providing premium human resource solutions to clients, large and small in a multitude of industries.
