Recruitment Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Recruitment Specialist to join our growing team in Belleville, ON. This role supports the acquisition of contingent labour for major operational clients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven ability to build and maintain a strong network of both established and emerging talent
  • Comfortable working in an open, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to develop and execute hiring strategies aligned with business needs
  • Professional representative of the Talent Acquisition team, both internally and externally
  • Strong understanding of recruitment beyond transactional hiring, able to see the broader workforce strategy
  • Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends when required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to generate high-quality candidate pipelines under tight timelines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of managing 5 to 12 open requisitions simultaneously
  • Experience working in fast-paced, changing environments
  • Passion for delivering exceptional client and candidate experience
  • Proactive follow-up with hiring managers to ensure staffing plans and workforce needs are met
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or workforce management systems is an asset

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, sourcing, headhunting, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
  • Partner with client managers throughout the contingent labour acquisition process
  • Create requisitions within web-based workforce management systems
  • Conduct background checks, reference checks, testing, and prepare required documentation
  • Support time approval and contractor hour collection processes
  • Maintain and continuously build a strong talent pipeline to meet current and future client demands
