Our client in the leading printing and graphic designing company is hiring for an Inventory Coordinator to start ASAP.
Job responsibilities:
- Checks dockets provided to determine if finished goods are on-hand to fulfil all or part of an order.
- Provides Packer with labels from inventory. Verifies that the quantity and type of labels match the job ticket.
- Properly controls and documents added and removed labels from inventory.
- Clearly and accurately marks racking to ensure rack signs accurately reflect finished goods above or below the signs.
- Provides Production with rolls of labels that need to be re-sized to meet adjusted requirements.
- Tracks and values labels and work-in-process inventory.
- Identifies and resolves inventory issues promptly.
- Performs regular cycle checks to ensure inventory is accurately tracked and communicated to Accounting, Sales and Production.
- Places overruns into finished goods inventory.
- For items that require back numbering, log all the “overs” into Label Traxx before storing into inventory.
- Receives and inventories raw stock. Tracks quantities and items closely and puts
rolls away quickly and accurately.
- Log all IBS items into Label Traxx.
- Performs picking, packing and other functions as required.
- Produces monthly inventory reports of inventory quantities and costs and forward to the management team.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Strong visual acuity.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. periodically.
- Able to safely and effectively operate fork-lift truck, hand truck and other material handling devices.
- Frequent walking and standing and periodic sitting behind a computer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed high school diploma. Additional training and certification in inventory systems is preferred. Completed post-secondary education is an asset.
- Possess current fork-lift license.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a similar position. Printing or label printing industry experience is an asset.
- Excellent relationship management skills. Builds credibility and trust by capably following through on commitments.
- Intermediate or higher levels of literacy and proficiency with reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Attentive to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and tactfully handle stressful situations.
- High level of initiative. Able to work independently and be self-directed and self-motivated.
- Strong work ethic, integrity and positive attitude. Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
Pay rate: $18/hr
