$17/hr Assembler - Start ASAP - Scarborough, ON
Our company is hiring for Pump Assemblers for a fluid flow equipment manufacturing company in Scarborough.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Performs assembly operation to produce pumps from parts via the sales order
- Reviews bill of material to determine all parts necessary to assemble pump are available
- Assembles base unit based upon manufacturing specifications and places tag on assembly
- Attaches pump to test machine and verifies it is operating properly
- Translate meter and gage readings to test data sheet
- Compare physical pump to model code to verify pump is correct configuration using reference material available
Qualifications and Skills
Must have High School education with prior experience in similar roles. Ability to read prints or parts drawings a plus along with experience in a manufacturing company. Should have the hands-on mechanical aptitude and be able to work with a variety of hand tools. Hoist and crane experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Day: 7 am to 3:30 pm, Afternoon: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Night: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Candidates MUST be flexible to work on ALL shifts.
