Frame/ Metalwork Assembler - Richmond Hill

Our client is a leading lighting fixture manufacturing company located in Richmond Hill is looking for warehouse assemblers ASAP. Previous experience working with wood or metal, an asset.

-- Direct Hire, Permanent position with benefits after probation
-- Working Location: Richmond Hill (Leslie & 16th)
-- Shift: 9am - 5:30pm 

Qualifications:
 Capable of measuring and cutting with power tools/ saws at various angles and materials
 Preferably 1 – 2 years assembly experience
 Ability to handle physical workload (20 to 50 lbs.)
 Must be able to read, understand and follow instructions/drawing
 Ability to use power tools, drills, saws, handheld tools, tape measure an asset

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):

 Measure layout cut and drill metal extrusion with a very high level of accuracy.
 Studies assembly instruction, reads work orders, follows sample assemblies, or receives verbal
instructions regarding duties to be performed.
 Assembles, and positions parts in specified relationship to each other
 Aligns parts or secure parts in place, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.
 Prepare finished products for shipment.
 All other responsibilities assigned by various supervisors in the team.
