Electrician/ Millwright (442A or 433A)

Our client is a leading food manufacturing company located in Toronto and Etobicoke. This position requires the Electrician or Millwright to set-up, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and operate manufacturing and plant support equipment. Support other areas of the business as required / assigned.

Basic Requirements:
Valid Ontario Industrial Millwright License (433A)
OR
Valid Ontario Industrial Electrician License (442A)

Qualifications
- Must have full time working experience in a similar environment.
- Must be able to read, modify and make from the scratch drawings.
- Agile in the diagnose and troubleshoot of electrical issues and equipment breakdowns under pressure.
- Knowledge of component parts assembly, understanding of automated systems, and interactions of components.
- PLC Programming and Line Integration knowledge is an asset.
- Basic computer skills required for Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Schedule flexibility and availability, including off shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime if required.
- General knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):
          Electrician
- Execution of Predictive, Preventive, Corrective and Emergency Maintenance activities on a safe, high quality and timely manner.
- Proper completion of all required documentation related to Work Orders, Work Permits, Parts Administration, Food Safety and Quality Assurance.
- Proactively assist other Operation Departments: Production, Sanitation and others.
- Support as required Engineering and Line Improvement Projects.

          Millwright
- Assist in equipment up time, and elimination of downtime potentials to maximize equipment efficiency
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks and scheduled items
- Support and implement resolutions for mechanical issues found in the equipment, through suggestions and necessary equipment adjustments
- As necessary complete machining projects to help with equipment issues, or support of new business requirements
- Complete miscellaneous plant projects as required (mounting and/or assembly of items, installation, etc.)
