Quality Technician_Scarborough

Our client in Scarborough, a manufacturer of Cardboard Products, is hiring for Quality Technician 

Location: Scarborough ( Finch Avenue East & Markham Rd)

Shift: 

• Day: 6 Am to 2 PM 
• Afternoon: 2 PM to 10 PM 

Pay rate: $21.01/hr; $0.50 afternoon shift premium 

Key Responsibilies:

• Carry out sampling rounds in dedicated areas. 
• Follow sample preparation adn testing procedures. 
• Examine samples and detect anomalies. 
• Document the results and observations in dedicated computer system. 
• Organized work effectively. 
• Comply with internal procedures and safety standards. 
• Requried repetitive lifting of 35lbs. 

Qualification:

• Immediate availability 
• Rigour, autonomy and an eye for detail 
• Experience in quality contorl in a manufacutring enviornment (ideally paper/cardboard or similar)
